There are various types of tea cup poodle.

Tea Cup Poodles are on average seven inches high and weigh four pounds and below. These are among the cutest dog you will come across. These tiny dogs are known for their loving nature and loyalty as companions and are favourable for people living in small houses or those who love animals but cannot care for a larger dog properly.

Larger Poodles are stronger, but at the same time very delicate. Due to their miniature build, they require a lot rest and eat nourishing food regularly. The best place for it is in a playpen with a snug blanket to keep him warm. You need to also ensure that his water bowl is filled with water that is at room temperature. Cold water is dangerous as it will cause a drop in their body temperature.

To properly care for your Tea cup poodle, one requires a few items such as exercising pen or playing pen, fleece blankets, bowls for both water and food. A lot of vets will recommend a specific breed homemade dog food or a high quality commercial dog food. A leash and body harness is also required for keeping the poodle safe.

Tea cup poodles are a much smaller version of the toy Poodle. Most weigh three and a half pounds but some are even smaller than that. They are best suited to people who don't have children and spend most of their time at home. Unlike the other poodles, this version cannot jump off of a sofa or bed, or climb stairs. Also due to their size, they cannot play with other animals. But the most dangerous factor of their size is their lack of body fat which makes them at risk of hypoglycaemia or unusually low blood sugar levels if regular feeding is not done.
